The World's Greatest Super-Heroes!

Martain Manhunter: Just as J'Onn J'Onzz was accidentally teleported to Earth, a private investigator named John Jones was killed. J'Onn vowed to become Jones, and learn more about this strange planet he was now stranded on. Shortly after that, he became one of the founding members of the Avengers League, and has been the only member to stay with every incarnation since. He currently serves as team co-leader.

Captain America: The "Living Legend of WWII" was frozen for nearly 50 years before being revived by the Avengers League. However, the team disbanded soon after that, and Cap traveled abroad to study other superheroes. At the request of his teammates, Cap has returned to active duty as team co-leader.

Batman: When his parents were killed in front of him, Bruce Wayne vowed that criminals must pay. Donning the cape and cowl of Batman, Wayne uses his instinct and prowess to stop crime. For a long time, Batman was content to handle things himself, never finding much use for teams. However, he has realized that he needs help in his war on crime, and only the Avengers League can provide him that help.

Iron Man: Tony Stark followed his late father's example by bringing Stark Enterprises to the heights of economic success. In a quest to find his father and mother's murderers and to aid his life-threatening heart problem, he created an unstoppable suit of armor. Iron Man has been one of the most faithful and financially beneficial members of the Avengers League.

Wonder Woman: She is the princess of an ancient race of warrior women; wise as Athena, stronger than Heracles, swifter than Hermes, and beautiful as Aphrodite. The champion of the Amazons, she was sent to teach their ideals of love and peace as Wonder Woman. She joined the Avengers League as an effort to help in her task.

Wasp: Janet Pym, estranged wife of Hank Pym, was bio-engineered to be able to shrink to wasp-size and to deliver bio-electric stings. She has evolved over time from a spoiled little rich girl to a mature businesswoman, and it is this maturity and tenacity that she brings to the Avengers League.

Flash: Wally West was an orphan when he and his cousin Bart wandered into Barry Allen's Speed Foundation. It was there on one fateful day that Wally was caught in an explosion and gained speed powers, allowing him to reach speeds just higher than Mach-1. Quickly putting a costume together, he raced out to become the third hero known as the Flash!

Quasar: Wendell Vaughn was a young researcher at Project Pegasus who obtained the powerful Quantum Bands from his father. He learned how to use them with the help of Eon, and occasional advice from Ted Knight, the former Starman. This astrophysics major is still very young at heart, but is extremely powerful, too.

Hawkeye: One of the best archers in the world, Clint Barton made a living as a mercenary. After a recent job ordered by Lex Luthor, Hawkeye infiltrated the Avengers League and actually became part of the team. He enjoyed playing the hero, and seemingly turned his back to his former ways. But, has he really changed, or is there a deeper agenda?

Giant Man: Henry Pym is one of the brightest men on the planet. He has used his talents as a consultant for the League and SHIELD, but now uses his incredible size changing powers on the front line!

Thor: The legendary Asgardian thunder god has adopted Earth as his home and considers himself to be the protector of the entire planet and its people.

Captain Marvel: Earth's mightiest mortal uses the wisdom of Solomon, the strength of Hercules, the stamina of Atlas, the power of Zeus, the courage or Achilles, and the speed of Mercury to fight evil.
